I’m home!
I arrived in India 2 days ago. Getting internet access has been a pain, the Mac support here is dismal, but more whinging about that later :)
In the meantime here’s a short update:
* I’ve arrived safely
* Bumped into Sandeep and Ben on my flight from Singapore, what a coincidence!
* I’m sooo happy to see the folks again
* The farm is beautiful. Fresh air, beautiful views, the dogs, birds, cows. It’s easy to forget I’m only 20 mins from the heart of Bangalore
* Haven’t met any friends yet, meeting some tonight to go to Opus, a local hangout. I can’t wait!
I’ve left out heaps, but I’ll blog again soon…

What a coincidence – Meeting Sandeep and Ben at the airport! Speaking of home, I bet it is nice to see your folks again after a long time; no doubt your stay on the family farm will be very therapeutic.

It’s been great Bren. I cannot describe how beautiful the farm is. When I woke up at 6am to see my mum off to work today, I walked out to the back verandah all I could see were rows and rows of coconut palms surrounded by mist, all this with the chirping of 19 different species of migratory bird in the backgound. Owls, Kingfishers, Egrettes were only a few, I can’t recognize most of them of course but my dad has become an expert of sorts. It probably goes without saying that it’s be really wonderful to see the folks again :)
Loving every moment, taking lots of pictures along the way.

Yo Abhi
Checked out your photo’s of India, looks great i’d love to visit some time. Are those coconuts the radioactive ones you used to talk about at work? Glad to see that you had a good time in India. Next time post some pictures of Miss India ;P.
